About Me
Welcome!
Hi, I'm Amanda, your Perdido Key Family Photographer! I'm the girl (read salt-and-pepper-haired, 44-year-old woman) behind the camera, living and photographing families in the Perdido Key, Floriday, Pensacola, and Gulf Shores, Alabama areas. I live an active, blended-family life with my husband, step-daughters, son, cats, and golden retriever.
When I'm not chauffeuring my youngest to his activities or substitute teaching, you will find me hiking, photographing local wildlife, or playing in the water. I LOVE snorkeling, and I'm learning to not fall off of my Stand Up Paddleboard. My favorite adventures so far have been swimming with manatees in Crystal River, FL, and snorkeling in Dry Tortugas National Park. All of that to say, if you're looking for a photography session that involves some hiking, playing in the water, or animals, I'm your girl!

My goal is to fill my client's walls with artwork from their photography session.

Why's it called Finding Beauty Photography?
What’s in a name?
Some of my favorite things to photograph have always been everyday things – my daughters inspecting their new baby brother, my dad fishing on the beach, or a stunning sunset. So, when I took the leap and started photographing people, I knew it was important to showcase the beauty of everyday life and nature.
I love bright, airy portraits, stolen moments, and striking, black-and-white photography. I think photographs should tell a story and evoke a memory without a lot of fancy editing. I want my clients and the scenery to be the main focus of their photos.
